3. Magnolia Fine Arts Festival

Come to Drake Field the weekend of the 16th and 17th to celebrate the local Peachtree City artists across a variety of mediums. The 6th annual event invites all to a family-friendly festival where the artwork shared benefits the Fayette County schools’ art programs. The fall event is Sponsored by the Fine Arts and Crafts Entrepreneurs, and called the Magnolia Fine Arts Festival. And it’s always an activity full of fun, music, food, and plenty of engaging art projects.

4. Traditional Trick or Treating in Peachtree City

Official Halloween trick or treating is scheduled for October 31st in Peachtree City. Hours of porch-hopping fun run from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and the date won’t change, regardless of the weather. The rules for traveling treaters are only to visit homes with porch lights on, indicating the residents are open to visitors looking for candy. And while other Halloween events may be happening over the weekend, it’s this designated time that the city reserves for official “beggars’ night” activities.

5. Learn Acting Skills by Attending Acting Craze, ‘Haunted House’

For a truly unique experience in October, sign up for the Acting Craze – “Haunted House” session. This class is open for participants as young as 7 to 14 years old and offers improv, characterization, and acting coaching. Prepare a skit for family and friends while you learn acting skills. On Sunday, October 24th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, gather with friends and family at the Southside Church to celebrate “Fall Vibes.” Wear your flannels, sample the tasty s’mores and fried Oreos, and take in all the pumpkin spice you can handle.
